"You Know Me and I Know You"

He Knows Me and I definitely know of him since the day I came into this world. He knew me better than I knew myself. Every way I have, every failure and accomplishment, every flaw, how many hairs I have and so forth. I know you're wondering who is he.... He's My Daddy! God that is. There you go.. If you checked my DNA, you would find that I am a combination of my father. His blood not only flows through my veins, but pumps through out every blood flow of my heart. Now don't get me wrong! I haven't always known that I belonged to him. I personally questioned myself always over and over again, especially as a child. I could never understand why at such a young age that it seemed as if I had more on my plate as the average adult. I mean lost in a world or shall I say trapped in a world full of fears, doubts, questions, and plenty of unanswered prayers... feeling as I was defeated. Yes DEFEATED! Mother and Father taken by the streets and I were only 5 years of age and not once, but four times I dodged death. Yea a lot! and that's not even the half; however, I'm not looking for sympathy nor am I complaining. This was all to simply say that even through all my doubts, questioning and fears, I am still here functioning and breathing with all activation of my limbs and if you asked me today, I could proudly tell you that I AM MY DADDY'S CHILD. As tears flowed from my eyes many nights he held me. In him, I found a sense of being, a place of peace. I've been through the fire. I've been torn into pieces, but I'm still choose him. The world may chew you up and spit you out, but as long as you know him there will always be a comforter and a friend. So smile beyond the process of going through being unprocessed because just as he knows me, "HE KNOWS YOU". Until we meet again... this is just the beginning. Always remember that The Joy of The Lord is Your Strength. The best feeling in the world is peace. Start finding it and the only way is through him :)
